What can I do today?

Set up a regular gift, make a donation online, sign up for an event, recycle your used cartridges and mobile phones, enter our raffle to win up to £2000, or organise your own fundraising event.

News

  • The Pears Foundation, an associated supporter of RNIB, donated £60,000 for a new braille machine.
  • In 2007, over 500 members of Team RNIB completed running events and overseas challenges worldwide. So far they have raised £350,000 and counting! Take up a new challenge and be part of Team RNIB.

How your money helps

We rely on your gifts to raise over £52m to help blind and partially sighted people lead full and rewarding lives. For every gift of a pound, RNIB spends 88p directly helping blind and partially sighted people, 11p on raising more vital funds and 1p on administration.

  • £8 helps pay for a call to our Helpline
  • £20 provides information and support on employment issues to a blind or partially sighted person
  • £125 pays for a patient to receive specialist care in RNIB's low vision clinic
  • £400 pays for an assessment to ensure a child gets the right equipment and support at school.
