RNIB proudly hosted Vision 2005 - the world’s largest conference on issues concerning people with sight problems. The conference was held in London from 4 to 7 April 2005.

Vision 2005 was organised under the auspices of the
International Society for Low Vision Research and Rehabilition (ISLRR)
It was co-hosted by Action for Blind People and The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

John's story - John first contacted his local authority in 1997 and received an assessment. He was judged to be ineligible and so did not receive any support or equipment. John bought his own cane to help with mobility and has been waiting over 18 months for training on how to use it properly. Equipped for living campaign.
