Start here for information about the RNIB website and how to find your way around

The RNIB website is the place to visit for information about living with sight loss in the UK and Northern Ireland. From comprehensive information about eye conditions and registering as blind or partially sighted to leisure opportunities and designing accessible products, we have it all.

Information about RNIB services is published throughout the site. If you want to speak to someone to find out how we can help you contact our Helpline (telephone 0845 766 9999, email helpline@rnib.org.uk). It offers an immediate, expert and confidential service.

You can also interact online - join discussion forums, support campaigns, register for events and courses, buy products online, take part in quizzes and sign up for RNIB news.

The RNIB site has been designed to be accessible to everyone and has been awarded the See it Right logo.

Claire's story - After graduating from university, Claire found it hard to find a job. She decided to do something to show employers that although she was blind she was still capable of doing a ‘normal’ job. "The time that I have spent volunteering with RNIB has helped my personal development. It has also allowed me to develop new skills which will benefit me in the work place." Claire's full story.
